How far can I talk?
The walkie talkie set with 0.5W and PMR446 can cover a range of up to 4 KM. Note that the maximum communication range may vary, depending on where you are using the radio. The range will drop in urban places and be at a maximum in remote places with fewer communication channels.
Urban Areas or Inside Buildings up to 1 KM, Suburban Locations up to 2-3 KM, Flat Open Terrain up to 4 KM.
